Typical lead timeRelated to plate thickness, structural complexity, quantity, finishing and assembly process; clear delivery and expedited options will be given after uploading the drawings

Finishing

Brushed

Suitable for appearance panels and chassis parts, it is recommended to indicate the drawing direction in the remarks (keeping it consistent with the assembly direction is more "like the finished product").

polish

Improves appearance brightness and tactility, suitable for exterior parts and visible surfaces; it is recommended to clarify acceptable fine texture standards for high-gloss appearance.

electropolishing

Used to further improve surface finish and cleanliness; suitable for applications more sensitive to surface detail and consistency.

Passivation

Improves surface corrosion resistance and stability, suitable for humid environments or structural parts/casing parts with higher requirements for rust prevention.

Laser engraving

Used for logos, serial numbers, nameplate information and scale marks; it is recommended to provide vector files and location and size instructions.

Why choose stainless steel_SUS430 (sheet metal fabrication)

Cost and performance balance

It is easier to strike a balance between corrosion resistance, strength and cost, and is suitable for stable implementation from prototypes to small batches.

Large appearance processing space

Optional brushing/polishing/electrolytic polishing, etc., suitable for the texture requirements of panels, shells and visual cosmetic parts.

Suitable for common sheet metal structures

Typical structures such as bent parts, panel parts, brackets and chassis parts are easy to manufacture and control.

Marking and protection friendly

Supports laser engraving and passivation treatment, more suitable for projects that require traceability and corrosion resistance stability.

Recommended Applications

  • Cosmetic parts/panel/chassis: The drawing direction needs to be uniform and the texture is more like the finished product.
  • Structural parts and connectors: Taking into account strength and corrosion resistance, suitable for long-term use
  • Prototype and small batch validation: The process is mature and the cost is controllable, making it easy to iterate quickly.
  • Need identification traceability: Laser engraving serial number/scale/nameplate information

It is not recommended to use it directly (it is recommended to change materials/change routes)

  • Extremely corrosive environment: It is recommended to evaluate stainless steel systems or surface solutions with stronger corrosion resistance
  • Ultra-high strength/high hardness and wear resistance: Recommended to evaluate higher performance materials or switch to machining/heat treatment route
  • Strictly sensitive to magnetism: Please describe the usage scenario in the remarks to facilitate evaluation on the engineering side.
  • Ultra-tight tolerance assembly: It is recommended to provide a complete 2D tolerance system and reserve a secondary processing plan

Design and DFM Guidelines

  • Plate thickness and bending priority: The board thickness, bending angle/bending edge size should be clearly stated in the drawings; it is recommended to define the drawing direction and appearance surface for cosmetic parts.
  • Hole location and assembly: Please make 2D markings for positioning holes, mating holes, countersunk holes/countersunk heads; for small holes/high-precision holes, it is recommended to consider secondary enlarging/reaming.
  • Edge and security: It is recommended that the touchable edges be chamfered/deburred; the appearance surface is recommended to be marked with "Appearance Grade/Acceptable Scratch Standard".
  • Welding/riveting/press riveting: If there is an assembly process, please provide the process requirements and location to avoid subsequent rework and delivery fluctuations.
  • Surface treatment matches: Brushing/polishing/electropolishing requires higher appearance consistency. It is recommended to provide reference samples/reference pictures and target effect descriptions.
