Finishing

sandblasting

Used to unify surface texture, improve paint adhesion and appearance consistency; suitable for primer treatment before powder coating/painting.

Blackening

Used to obtain a black appearance and a certain anti-rust effect (a comprehensive evaluation combined with protection/painting requirements is usually still recommended).

Oxidation

Used to improve surface condition and appearance; if the requirements for corrosion resistance and salt spray are clear, please write down the goals and test standards in the remarks.

galvanized

One of the common solutions to improve corrosion resistance; suitable for the protection needs of chassis cabinets, structural parts and general sheet metal parts.

Nickel plated

Used to improve surface protection and appearance texture; suitable for parts that require both appearance and corrosion resistance.

Dusting

Get a more wear-resistant, consistent coating appearance; suitable for uniform appearance of chassis cabinet shells, brackets and batch parts.

spray paint

Color and texture (matte/semi-matte/high-gloss) control can be achieved; it is recommended to provide color number/reference picture and appearance definition.

Why choose hot rolled plate_SPHC

Cost-friendly and suitable for general structural parts

For prototype and functional validation scenarios, SPHC is more suitable as a cost-effective solution for structural supports and general sheet metal parts.

Strong process compatibility

Can combine cutting, bending and common assembly processes; suitable for chassis cabinets, brackets, base plates and connectors, etc.

Rich finishing options

Supports sandblasting, blackening, oxidation, galvanizing, nickel plating, powder coating, and painting, making it easy to configure according to appearance and corrosion resistance goals.

High order and delivery efficiency

Upload drawings to quickly assess manufacturability (DFM) and provide quotes and lead times, which is suitable for iterative prototyping and small batches.

Recommended Applications

  • General structural parts: Brackets, bottom plates, reinforcements, connecting pieces, etc.
  • Chassis cabinet: Shell/inner tank/mounting plate, etc. (optional powder coating/painting to achieve uniform appearance)
  • Welding and assembly parts: Parts that require spot welding/tailor welding/screw assembly
  • Prototype and functional validation: Pursuing sheet metal iteration with controllable costs and controllable lead times

It is not recommended to use it directly (it is recommended to change materials/processes)

  • Strong corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor use: It is recommended to give priority to galvanized/stainless steel/aluminum alloy or improve the coating protection level
  • Requirements for "mirror grade" appearance: It is recommended to evaluate cold-rolled plates or materials and surface routes that are more suitable for appearance
  • Extremely lightweight: Recommended for evaluation of aluminum alloys or structural optimization
  • High precision fit: It is recommended to combine 2D tolerance and secondary processing/tooling positioning solution evaluation

Design and DFM Guidelines

  • Plate thickness and strength route: Please prioritize the plate thickness and stress path; if there is a long-span or suspended structure, it is recommended to reinforce/flange it to increase the stiffness.
  • Bending and unfolding: For bent parts, please try to provide the bending direction and key dimension benchmarks; if the bending angle/rebound is sensitive, it is recommended to provide 2D annotations and indicate priority control items.
  • Hole location and assembly: It is recommended to mark tolerances and benchmarks for key hole positions; if rivet nuts/studs are required, please indicate the specifications, quantity and assembly surface.
  • Welding deformation control: For welded parts, please note the welding position, weld appearance standards and whether polishing is required; if necessary, segmented welding/tooling positioning can be used to reduce deformation.
  • Surface treatment pre: If galvanizing/powder coating/painting is required, please define the appearance surface and masking surface in advance; and indicate the color number/texture and corrosion resistance target to avoid rework.
