Nylon-PA66 CNC machining material (PA66 nylon / engineering plastic machining / wear-resistant insulating plastic), suitable for structural parts, insulation parts, wear-resistant sliding parts and small batch end-use parts; finishing supports chamfering, grinding, bonding, screen printing, laser engraving, painting, upload files for a fast quote and delivery.

Nylon 66 (PA66)

Compared to Nylon (PA)6, Nylon 66 (PA66) offers "higher rigidity, greater temperature resistance, better wear resistance, and (relatively)" dimensional stability, making it suitable for plastic functional parts that are more sensitive to strength and heat resistance.

Finishing

chamfer

It is used to remove sharp edges and improve assembly safety and feel; it is also more friendly to assembly introduction and sliding contact surfaces.

polish

Used to improve surface processing texture and edge touch; if the appearance requirements are higher, it is recommended to note the surface grade and allowable texture direction.

bonding

Suitable for assembly or combination of functional structures after separate processing; it is recommended to note the location of the bonding surface, strength target and whether a positioning structure is required.

screen printing

Used for logos, scales and text patterns; it is recommended to provide vector files and mark the location, size and color requirements.

Laser engraving

Suitable for serial numbers, QR codes, logos and shallow engraved textures; please note the laser engraving content, location and acceptable contrast.

spray paint

Used for appearance uniformity and color/texture realization; it is recommended to explain matte/semi-matte/high-gloss and appearance surface definition, and it is better to provide reference pictures.

Why Choose Nylon-PA66 (CNC Machining)

Lightweight and practical structure

It can reduce weight while satisfying structural support, and is suitable for equipment structural parts, brackets, isolation parts and small batch engineering parts.

Wear-resistant sliding and more friendly

Suitable for wear-resistant scenarios such as sliders, guides, bushings, and friction contact structures (it is recommended to clarify the contact surface and lubrication conditions).

Insulation and corrosion resistance

Suitable for electrical insulation and corrosion-sensitive environments; if there are medium/temperature/humidity working conditions, please indicate in the remarks to facilitate selection and confirmation.

Processing and appearance controllable

Assembly-friendly and consistent appearance can be achieved through chamfering, grinding, painting, screen printing, laser engraving, etc.; suitable for delivery from prototypes to small batches.

Recommended Applications

  • Lightweight structural parts: Equipment parts, brackets, isolation blocks, fixtures and fixture parts
  • Wear resistant/sliding contact: Guides, sliders, bushings and other structures that require wear resistance and contact reliability
  • electrical insulation: Insulating supports, isolators and non-conductive structural parts
  • Small batch trial production/delivery: Rapid verification, functional prototypes, small batch end-use parts

Consider Another Material or Process

  • High temperature and long-term working conditions: If you are close to a heat source or have sustained high temperatures, it is recommended to evaluate a more temperature-resistant material system.
  • High rigidity/dimensional stability limit requirements: Higher stiffness materials or enhanced versions/metal options can be evaluated
  • High load metal connections: It is recommended to evaluate inserts or change metal materials for threaded force connections.
  • Strong appearance mirror grade requirements: It is recommended to clarify appearance standards and evaluate process paths such as painting

Design and DFM Guidelines

  • Key dimensions and benchmarks: For assembly holes, positioning surfaces and mating dimensions, please provide 2D markings and explain the datum; unmarked areas are subject to general processing control by default.
  • Thin wall and deformation control: It is recommended to avoid large areas of ultra-thin-walls and slender cantilevers; reinforce/thicken if necessary, and evaluate clamping and processing paths during the quote stage.
  • Holes/Threads and Assembly: For deep holes, fine holes and high fit requirements, it is recommended to reserve machining allowance; for repeated disassembly and stress-bearing threads, it is recommended to evaluate structural strengthening or inserting solutions.
  • Surface and appearance: If the appearance surface needs to be cleaner, please define the appearance surface and allowable texture direction, and note whether polishing/painting/screen printing/laser engraving is required.
  • Bonding and separation: Large-sized or complex structures can be processed in separate pieces and then bonded. It is recommended to design positioning steps/tongues and reserve space for the glue layer to improve assembly consistency.
